Mrs. Amanda Gibbons

My name is Amanda Gibbons and this is my 21st year of teaching.  I grew up in Austin and attended Texas State University before moving to Fort Worth in 2003.  I have taught Pre-K for 10 years and I absolutely love it.  I have lived and worked in the Benbrook community for over 13 years, and I love this town.  My husband and I are both in education and we have two beautiful daughters that attend BMHS.  Our girls are very involved in school activities, so we are always on the go.  When I do have time to sit back and relax, I love to read and sit outside on my back porch with my 3 dogs.  I am so excited about joining the Westpark family this year and I am looking forward to being more involved in this community.

Carly Long

My name is Carley Long and this is my second year teaching. I had the lovely opportunity to student teach at Westpark with Amanda Gibbons and Michaela Finn at the beginning of the semester last school year. I graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in December of 2023 where I played collegiate Volleyball and earned my bachelor's degree. I am currently working on my masters in Kinesiology at Tarleton State University. When I am not teaching you will probably find me coaching my varsity volleyball team for Young Women's Leadership Academy (Go Owls!). I love spending time with my family, friends, my dog Daisy, and I especially love to travel! I look forward to a great school year.
