I began teaching in 1999 after graduating from Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS with a degree in Elementary Education.  I discovered right away that 4^th graders are the BEST, and so I've spent all my teaching years in the same grade!  I’ve taught in McPherson, Kansas, Aledo ISD and Fort Worth ISD. 

I am a wife and mom to 3 kids who attend Benbrook Middle-High. When I’m not at school, I spend time on the golf course with my family, read lots of books, sift through thrift stores, and eat brisket tacos at 3 Parrots Taco Shop!
